DESCRIPTION: For my first several years in New York, I lived on the Upper East Side, and it's still one of my favorite parts of the city.

The whole neighborhood reminds me of a movie set, because dozens of movies I watched when I was a kid were set there. I never dreamed I'd someday live there.

Many days, including this one, I just wandered around snapping images of some of the easy-to-miss details of the area's architecture.
