The Rookery

Soon after he moved to the Rookery, Louis converted an artist studio on the property into a guest house. Among the guests who slept there were co-stars from Dark Shadows (Joel Crothers, Jonathan Frid, Nancy Barrett, Keith Prentice and others) and All My Children (including Ruth Warrick). In later years, he installed a TV set and VCR and made sure VHS copies of Dark Shadows were there. (That's him on the screen.)
